After the road roller leaves the factory, it is generally stipulated that there is a running-in period of about 60 hours . The running-in period is the main link to ensure the normal operation of the roller, reduce the failure rate and extend its service life.

However, at present, some users neglect the special technical requirements for the running-in period of the road roller due to lack of common sense in the use of road rollers, or because of the tight construction period, or wanting to obtain benefits as soon as possible.Some users even think that the manufacturer has a warranty period anyway, and the manufacturer is responsible for the maintenance of the road roller when it is broken.

So the road roller is overloaded for a long time during the running-in period, resulting in frequent early failure of the machine, which not only affects the normal application of the road roller, The service life of the machine is shortened, and the progress of the project is also affected due to the damage of the machine. Therefore, the use and maintenance of the  road roller during the running-in period should be given sufficient attention.
