1. Select according to the project volume and construction period requirements. When the amount of concrete construction is large and the construction period is long, medium or large fixed concrete mixers or mixing stations should be selected. If the amount of concrete work is small and the construction period is short, small and medium-sized mobile mixers should be used.

2. Select according to the composition characteristics and consistency of concrete. For example, when the consistency of mixing concrete is small and the aggregate size is large, it is advisable to use a self-falling mixer with a larger capacity. For example, when mixing concrete with large consistency and large aggregate size, it is advisable to use a self-falling mixer with a faster mixing drum speed. If the consistency is large and the aggregate particle size is small, a forced mixer or a mixer with a medium or small capacity conical reversing discharge should be used.

3. Selection of concrete types according to plan When mixing concrete is plastic or semi-plastic, it is advisable to use a self-falling mixer. If the concrete to be mixed is high-strength, dry-hard or light-weight concrete, a forced mixer should be used.
